Woah, you say again as you look at your's. Eww. No one's taking you serious. No one pays attention to you, and no one wants to help you, just because you're new.
But that's the sad truth of Whyville.
Well, you probably have your newbie clothes on. Either the straight blonde hair and the red hoodie, or the wavy brown hair and a blue shirt. Or, maybe you're a bluebie, with no face parts! But newbie or not, I have the perfect way to look like an acceptable Whyvillian - with a nice pile of clams too!
First, go to Akbar's Face Mall and go through all the different hairs and eyes and noses and mouths and shirts and all those other face parts, and add them to your cart. Make sure to get things that are in your price range, and try to make the total amount around 200 clams or less. After this, it's time to start bringing in the dough!
You want to earn about 300 clams, or at least a little more than your total clams from Akbar's. Do all these things with this goal in mind, and you'll be looking great in no time!
The first and easiest way to get quick clams is to take the Chat License Test on the Welcome page, that'll get you 50 clams. The answers are quite simple, and obvious too, if you use your head.
Current Earnings: 50 clams
Next, you can go over to the cafeteria, to help
recycle the messy rooms. And bring over some friends, or round up a couple of other people from the Grotto, because it's impossible to finish by yourself. Start at room 15, and work your way down the list of rooms. This is how the game works: You have 120 seconds [2 minutes] to put every piece of trash into the correct bin. You must finish binning all the items to get your clams. If you don't, you can always try again. Be sure to watch other people bin items that you're not sure of, so by the end, you'll probably have an idea where every item goes!
Current Earnings: 20-100 clams [if you work hard]
Now is the biggest one of all, the one that'll earn you clams every single day that you visit Whyville - your Salary! Go to Salary Ledger in the destinations menu, and there you'll see a list of salary-raising games. Click on the games to play, and by no time you can probably raise your salary to earning 30 clams a day! If you have trouble, you can always ask the Newbie Center.
Current earnings: 10+ clams a day
One very popular game on the salary list is the Treasure Hunt Safari. By reading the clues and instructions, you can hop on the Warp Wagon and go around the world searching for clams! With a good brain, some patience, and a lot of hard work, you'll go all the way up to round 3 and earn LOTS of clams!
Current Earnings: 200-300 clams, and a salary increase of 15 clams
Now, you probably have anywhere from 270-450 clams! With that money, you can buy all your face parts, put them on, and go show off at the Grotto!
